Part I: "Leaking wells" is a chronic, ubiquitous, well-understood problem. It is unresponsive to "tough regulation".  It is causing contamination of drinking water at an increasing rate.


Part II: Methane is not a clean fossil fuel: no such thing.  Methane is not a cleaner fossil fuel: it is the dirtiest from a climate change perspective.  It is not a bridge: it is a gangplank.
