Pouné Saberi, MD, MPH
Dr. Pouné Saberi is currently completing a medical residency in the Occupational and Environmental Medicine program at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a clinician at Sayre Health Center and a faculty member of the Family Medicine and Community Health Department. Her passion is learning and teaching about the effects of environmental factors and toxicology on personal health. She is currently initiating a study about health complaints voiced by residents living in regions of Pennsylvania where hydraulic fracturing for natural gas is occurring. In addition, Dr. Saberi lives her personal philosophy by serving on the board of Physicians for Social Responsibility and as an advocate for clear air and water by volunteering for the grassroots organization Protecting Our Waters.
