On Tuesday, October 18, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine held a launch event to release a consensus study on Resilience for Compounding and Cascading Events. PSE’s Director of Research Elena Krieger contributed to the report through her role as a member of the Committee on Hazard Mitigation and Resilience Applied Research Topics. Issued by the Committee on Hazard Mitigation and Resilience Applied Research Topics, the report identifies and summarizes key research topics for the applied research community based on discussions a workshop held on May 31, 2022 and with the Resilient America Roundtable.
