House Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee Hearing investigates “Oil and Gas Development: Impacts of Business-as-Usual on the Climate and Public Health.”
PSE Executive Director Dr. Seth Shonkoff testified on July 16, 2019 before the House Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources. The subcommittee hearing was the fourth in a series of hearings about the impacts of oil and gas development, and was focused on climate change and public health. Dr. Shonkoff discussed the state of the science on the risks to public health, water quality and air quality, from oil and gas development and risks to the climate from increasing greenhouse gas emissions.
